Lovers' Cove challenge #2

Hello world!!

This is the second challenge at Lovers' Cove that am participating. You can check the first challenge entry here.

Several bloggers are coming together with a story (initiated by Andy sir), different parts contributed by different bloggers. Every new participant has to make up their lines as a continuation of the linked blogger before their entry. The title is undecided and will be named after all the entries are put together. Please head over to Andy's blog for more details on the challenge. I have continued after Janu's lines

My lines (25 words) -

“Let’s just take this slow, shall we?” He said. A mile long smile spread across her face. A soft “thanks” was all she could say.

Like the concept? Want to join in?  What are you waiting for? Hop in. :)

Love
Swarnali

  1. Dear Swarnali,
Oh WoW! You ladies are good! (LOL) I'm so happy you have contributed your spin on the story. I'm very impressed & love the direction this is heading in, but things might change with the later entries. Who knows...that's the beauty of the challenge!
Thank you for being a valued participant at Lovers' Cove. I'll be seeing you again soon!

  2. I went ahead and read Janu's line first and then read your line. Very well done. This story is coming together. I like how different bloggers are writing each line.

      Welcome to my blog :)
Yeah exactly ... the tension between them, the desire to be together and yet the fear of spoiling it. Eagerly waiting for the entire story to come together. :)

    3. Dear Crystal,
As with the last challenge, I only post the whole poem after everyone has linked up. Sometimes, I shift entries around too, so it takes me a few days to put it all together. Keep checking back for updates...I'll post it soon.

    2. Yes Bikram...what happened to you? I disagree...you did not fail in the first challenge!

      My dear Swarnali,
You have nothing to fear from either me or Lovers' Cove! (smile). Based on some of the feedback, I think I might have made the challenge a little too hard. I promise it will be much easier for the next one on July 26th. Remember, you can always contact me if you ever have any concerns about the challenges. I never want anyone to feel like they can't enter. Lover's Cove is not a competition...we are all in this together and together, we achieve and grow.

Lovers' Cove is still very new, so all this feedback is especially helpful. Thank you.

    3. Haha Andy, I am not scared of you :P What i meant was I was a little skeptical about the challenge, if I would be able to do justice to it. It wasn't really hard. Whats a challenge if its not challenging enough? :D Looking forward to the next one :)

Wait until you see how the final poem has turned out. I'm waiting for permission from a friend to use her artwork, then I shall publish it. All I will say is...it's AWESOME!!
