Scribbles

ENMESHED

To be or not to be
To do or not to
Past and present intertwine
Into a grotesque mesh
Leaving me all confused and knotted.

JUST WISHES

Wishing forgetting you came easy,
Wishing just a goodbye would have done it all,
Wishing it was enough to erase all those memories,
Wishing just closing my eyes would end it all,
Wishing turning away would set me free,
From all those memories which look so distant
Now that you're not here anymore.

    1. Time may not be a medicine as the pain is never gone but it indeed is the best healer as it gives us the space to get used to living with the pain :)
      Thanks a lot :)

  3. That feeling is the hardest. But once you're over it, Life feels new and different. Better nevertheless.

  6. losing someone is one of the hardest things ever. but they are right when they say that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. it's only when you close one chapter, that the next can start. cheers to a new beginning. :)

  7. Lovely words Swarnali :)
From being bonded to trying to escape the bonds, the moods expressed nicely.
This post reminds me of one of my favorite songs 'Wish you were here' by Pink Floyd.

Keep up the good writing Swarnali. :) :)

    Regards

  8. its touching and a tad sad too .. but we cant change the past.. its gone .. future we dont know .. the only day is TODAY.. the present ..

wishing this happened or that , is ok, but it would be much more feasible is we actually do something about it :)

Take care girl, have a great day and wish you and family a VERY very happy diwali

Am glad you liked them.. :D
Well, I believe the present and the past are always intertwined, you can segregate the two and even though you can say you've moved on forgotten the past...it is not true, you just decide to ignore it willingly :)
