ENMESHED
To be or not to be
To do or not to
Past and present intertwine
Into a grotesque mesh
Leaving me all confused and knotted.
JUST WISHES
Wishing forgetting you came easy,
Wishing just a goodbye would have done it all,
Wishing it was enough to erase all those memories,
Wishing just closing my eyes would end it all,
Wishing turning away would set me free,
From all those memories which look so distant
Now that you're not here anymore.
Touching, deep and very poignant!
ReplyDeleteCannot say more - hugsss to you..take care

Deletetime, they say, is the best healer....
ReplyDeletevery well written!
Time may not be a medicine as the pain is never gone but it indeed is the best healer as it gives us the space to get used to living with the pain :)
DeleteThanks a lot :)
That feeling is the hardest. But once you're over it, Life feels new and different. Better nevertheless.
ReplyDelete+To Me It Matters+
Hehe yeah sometimes you just need a few bumps on the road to keep you from over speeding :P Life isn't that bad when you learn to appreciate every part of it, be it grief or joy :)
DeleteThanks :)
Beautifully written ... loved both the poems :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Amrit :)

Deletelosing someone is one of the hardest things ever. but they are right when they say that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. it's only when you close one chapter, that the next can start. cheers to a new beginning. :)
ReplyDeleteHehehe...now somebody has been listening to Kelly Clarkson too much?? ;) Yeah cheers to the new beginning :D hugs tight
DeleteLovely words Swarnali :)
ReplyDeleteFrom being bonded to trying to escape the bonds, the moods expressed nicely.
This post reminds me of one of my favorite songs 'Wish you were here' by Pink Floyd.
Keep up the good writing Swarnali. :) :)

DeleteWe're always interwined in the tales of past. It ain't easy to move past it.
ReplyDeleteWorth reading. Amazing poems. :)
Hey Purple!!
DeleteThanks for dropping in :)
Am glad you liked them.. :D
Well, I believe the present and the past are always intertwined, you can segregate the two and even though you can say you've moved on forgotten the past...it is not true, you just decide to ignore it willingly :)
I love both - I really really like the first one too. I love them both equally!
