Nail art and li'l DIYs again!!

Went out visiting the zoo with my li'l niece (yes its the same trip I had mentioned earlier) and was mesmerized by the gorgeous leopard (no not scary gorgeous,it was the OMG its freaking gorgeous). Plus spotted Leia's leopard print nails a few days back and couldn't resist trying it out myself. Take a look-

 I agree,pics aren't really flattering,but believe me,the thing looked really cool in real (but definitely not as good as Leia's!!).

Here take a look at what the Leopard looked like.

Then was smitten by the heart symbol and thought of sporting it on my nails...take  a look-

I tried out making another bow hair clip for Drisha and a floral headband for my niece,here is how they look-

Wishlist

There are sooooooo many things that I intend to buy and do but somehow  shortage of money,time etc etc come forth as obstacles. Never mind, I have decided to make a list (a quite long one) which I want to buy and complete slow & steady. Here goes what all I aim to purchase and achieve-

1) Read Robin Cook's "Coma" , "Fever" and "Mutation"
   Am a big big fan of Robin Cook (or maybe biological thrillers :P,am not sure which ) and am dying to read these three books,heard they are his best. Any other Cook fan there?? Suggestions are welcome :D

2) Read Jean Sasson's "Rape of Kuwait" , "Desert Royale" and "Growing up Bin Laden"
   Read her "Princess" and "Daughters of Arabia" and have grown in love with her works since and now want to read all her other works. She's simply AWESOME ! Do give her a read.

3) Buy a Purple Amethyst in Silver pendant that I saw at a local jewelers. Looks somewhat like this-

4) Buy a tribal necklace(for mum) that I saw at a roadside shop some days back. Looks exactly the same but the one I saw was with a gold finish -

5) Buy a pretty mustard yellow tiffani dress I saw at a local shop's window during a walk. The one I saw looks somewhat like this(sans the belt)-

6) Buy a pair of gladiators I spotted at Bata (and fell in love with them in an instant). This one is not coming soon as mum has refused to buy me any more shoes,so I'll have to save from pocket money to get this one...  :( Take a look-

7) Buy a Red Skinny. Infact I want them in all colors-red,green,yellow...brighter, the better!! Well this is a distant dream as I'll have to shed some stones to sport this one.. :(

8) A pair of red denim shorts / hot pants (this one is for sis). Wondering if red is my favorite color..nope...its blue...but am a li'l bored with blue these days and red is the new blue for me now.. :P

9) Buy a basic Black n white striped tee / tank top. Saw a pic in a mag with a model sporting a Black n white tee with white capri pants and she looked "wow"... :P Something like this will be perfect,but the sad part is I did happen to see some at a few stores but didn't happen to like them,search for the perfect one continues :(

10) Buy a bottle of the perfect royal blue nail color. Yeah I did mention this one before!! This should have been my no.1 wish item,its the color I have been looking for months now & couldn't find anywhere :'(

Color me...

Well..this is the first time am trying to blog...so couldn't think of anything that i cud start with...suddenly this idea of writing about my favorite Nail Colors pops up in my mind...& I say..Y not?? So this is to all my pretty ladies who love coloring their nails...I believe your nail color is something dat represents the person you are..be it bold,subdued,classy..it defines all!! So here are my favorite colors...I have a few and would love to have plenty more.. :D

Holly: This is one of my favorite nail colors,looks absolutely stunning.

Black: This is the one color that every girl should posses for bringing out the emo in you. You can never go wrong with black...It is one color that will make you stand out everywhere :D Nothing better than a black nail color for the winters (or any other day!!)

Champagne: This is one color that goes with every outfit and perfect for everyday wear. Champagne Shimmer by Avon is an essential in my nail color list & I have 3 bottles of it.... :D I absolutely love this color.

Plum or Purple: This are colors that will always bring in a smile... simple adorable. Looks perfect with a cute summer dress and a pretty pair of gladiators :D

 

    

Brown: This is another favorite color of mine,be it the yummilicious chocolate brown or the shiny mettalic brown or the plain jane brown...I love them all...

Pink: Pink!! The favorite color of all women!! So splash it on your nails...from the bright shocking pink to the charming rose shimmer..it looks great on everybody ..

 

 
 
Blue: Go Blue!! Blue is my favorite color..be it blue dresses,blue t shirts, blue jeans, blue shirts,blue shoes, blue earrings,blue nail colors...name it...& I have it all...blue looks good with everything & on everyone..from robin blue to sky blue to turquoise blue to ink blue..I love all shades of blue...looks wonderful with your blue jeans and t-shirt for a casual look!!

Red: Ah!! Red is the color to bring out the classy lady in you...Cherry red, Cranberry, Bold red, .choose the one you like...makes you look the diva you are when paired with a cocktail dress and your pair of red pumps!!

And of course y keep it simple wen u can add motifs and wonderful patterns to your nails!!

And for the last tip...girls do keep a color that is your favorite...something that you can always wear with anything..!! And don't forget to get wild sometimes...try the flashy colors as well!!
